The Alliance is pleased to share that, on July 6, 2026, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (DMS) became officially regulated by the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). This important milestone strengthens public protection by ensuring all registered DMS meet established registration requirements, adhere to standards of practice, maintain ongoing competence, and are accountable to their regulatory college.
